Travel to Iceland

Traveling to Iceland is not like getting on a plane and going to Antarctica or the North Pole.
Most people don’t realize how easy it is to travel to Iceland.
There are multiple non-stop flights daily that travel to Iceland from the US. And don’t expect a 10 hour flight either; a plane trip to Iceland will only take about 4.5 hours at the most.
Your other option is to take a boat to Iceland.
Let me reiterate a couple of points for the confused traveler. It’s impossible to travel to Iceland by train. Let’s be honest; if you travel to Iceland by train, that train better be a submarine. If someone tries to sell you a ticket to travel to Iceland by train, they’re a con-artist. There are no underwater tubes to travel to Iceland by train. Those Europeans figured out how to do it between Britain and France, but the Icelanders haven’t done the same. Don’t harass them. It’s a big job.
Which brings us to another point: it’s impossible to travel to Iceland by bus. Come on, if you can’t travel to Iceland by train, how are you going to travel to Iceland by bus? It just doesn’t make sense. If you travel to Iceland by bus, it better be a school bus……of fishes. Do you get the joke? Anyway, write it down somewhere important: You absolutely cannot travel to Iceland by bus.
If you haven’t been paying attention to the above warnings, you’re probably wondering if you can travel to Iceland by car. My reply is: yes, you can travel to Iceland by car, as long as you travel to Iceland in that car from the movie “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang”. You know; the one with the wings. Otherwise, it’s impossible to travel to Iceland by car because Iceland is an island and you can’t travel there on anything that doesn’t have wings or a lifeboat.
But take note that Iceland is an island, and therefore you might find it difficult to take a train, car, or bus. In fact, you might get wet!
